To create a new picture from your table or chart, do the following:

1. Select data that you want to show in the screenshot.

You can change the screenshot parameters and positioning it when you prefer. When you change somethingin the source table, it will be changed in the screenshot too:

Note: We strongly recommend to avoid using the Camera Tool for charts. Sure, itworks, but Excel still generate errors when we try to change anything in the source chart.

To create a screenshot from the chart, you need to position it in some cells and create a screenshot fromcells. You can change width ofgridlinesor even turn offgridlines in Excel.

Be careful, if you change the position of that chart, the screenshot will be changed regarding to thecells data, not to the chart!

Please do as following steps to add the Camera tool into Excel’s Quick Access Toolbar.

1. Click on the arrow of Customize Quick Access Toolbar in the Excel Toolbar, then select More Commands from the drop down list. See screenshot:

Tip: In Excel 2007, you also can right click at the blank place of the Toolbar, and select Customize Quick Access Toolbar to show the Excel Options dialog.

2. In the popping out Excel Options dialog, select Commands Not in the Ribbon from the Choose commands from list, then scroll down to find Camera command. See screenshot:

3. Then click Add button to add the Camera command to right command list. See screenshot:

4. Click OK to close the dialog. Now you can see the Camera tool in the Excel Quick Access Toolbar.

If you want to take a screenshot on a data range, you can do as follow:

1. Select a data range you want, for instance, I select A1:B6. See screenshot:

2. Click Camera tool in the Quick Access Toolbar. See screenshot:

3. Click the location you want to place the screenshot at, then the picture will appear. See screenshot:

Tip: The data in the picture will change automatically with the original data changing.
